PROMOTING TOURISM LOCAL VALUE CHAIN IN PROTECTED AREAS IN THE SHARRI REGION

The project “Promoting Tourism Local Value Chain in Protected Areas in the Sharri Region” was organized during February-April 2021 in Sharri Region, Kosovo.

This project was funded by GIZ under the @BiodiversityORF Regional Open Fund for the Implementation of Biodiversity Agreements. The project was implemented by NGO Finch @NGOFinch.

BIODIVERSITY VALUES AND SHARING BEST PRACTICES OF TOUR OPERATORS IN THE REGION

The training supported local tour operators on how to make a sustainable tourism, how to serve a positive and educational impact on biodiversity protection through outdoor tourism. The purpose of this training was to unite the tour operators of the region and exchange their experiences regarding the impact they have in the region for economic growth but also in the promotion-preservation of cross-border biodiversity.
