HORSE RACING - Dragash
In the distant past, this kind of sport was also organized during family celebrations at weddings. Horse racing competitions were held in the weddings of wealthy families. The first three places were rewarded with gifts. The first place was rewarded with an ox, ram or a sheep. Dragash Municipality, annually, on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Dragash, organizes horse racing. Since the war this kind of sport has received a great resonance, where the event is attended by horses from neighboring countries such as Albania and Macedonia. Dragash Municipality annually, on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Dragash (the first Sun Day after June 15) organizes the horse racing event.
